Rugged and beautifull country, the elevation here is 7000 ft.

I'm almost halfway to my destination, that looming dark cloud cover was approaching fast, it was certainly cold and high enough for snow fall. In the distance, traces of snow and ice are visible on the peaks of the Eastern Sierras.

Despite the approaching cloud cover and the possibility of snow, I was determined to finish my loop and visit Mazourka Canyon.
