I took Cleo to Sequoia National Park and we stayed at the Lazy Jay Inn just southwest of the park at the town of Three Rivers. Cleo loved the park and the fresh smell of blossoming flowers in the spring. She also enjoyed her stay at the motel and met many friends there. The Lazy Jay is the only motel that accomodates pets. She loved to play at their wide open lawn with a soccer ball she chased all over. There were lush vegetation, trees and flowers all around, truly a magical place. |

I brought along my portable grill and we stayed up late at night cooking a kabob barbecue at the lawn under a crystal clear starry sky. Cleo and I savored every moment and we took a spirited walk soon after the meal and came back to a boiling tea pot on top of the barbe. These were terrific times for both of us, simply unforgettable. |

Cleo and I marveled at the huge Sequoia trees, mother nature is truly amazing. We visited the parks on many occasions and then we decided to also visit Kings Canyon and Yosemite National parks further north. Cleo played in the cold gushing waters of Kings Canyon. The river carried the melting cold waters from the high peaks and it was gushing downward in a remarkable roar. |

We visited the water falls and immense lush and green meadows at Yosemite National park. Cleo was running and playing all over the place. It was pure joy to see her so happy and full of life in the hands of nature. We visited these parks multiple times without a dull moment and they were of Cleo's favorite places. |

I took Cleo with me to visit the majestic Eastern Sierra Nevada. We again marveled at the beauty of mother nature. We camped at the Alabama Hills, just west of Lone Pine and HWY 395, with indescribable views into the Sierras and Mount Whitney. Cleo and I often stayed at the Best Western motel in Lone Pine, it was more of a refined stay that we both deserve after a long trip. |

Late at night, when every one is asleep; I would prepare some chilli and and share some with Cleo right outside at the motel lawn. We would then gaze at the majestic snow covered Sierras, reflecting the soft moon light. |
