I had the whole place to myself, not a soul to be seen! Maybe the restless souls of a few miners were lurking about, waiting to scare some boyscouts.

Spent a lot of time just walking around and sightseeing, the Holcomb valley is rich in mining history and stories of prospectors that struck riches overnight.

Suddenly, it felt like someone turned the oven switch on, it got real toasty in a hurry! I think the tempreture was around 95 degrees in the Valley, even at 7000 ft! I had to head back to the staging area and get out of Dodge!!!
